I've two single stack AK magazines from the Wasir (spelling) has the latch quite similar to standard AK magazines. There was a long thread with pictures on the castboolits.com forum regarding making a 7.62x39 conversion on a Italian Carcano. He did use one of the single stack magazines for this conversion. regards,Frank
