Re: Cooper Firearms

Picked up the Cooper today. 257 Bob with a maple stock uncheckered. Bought 6 boxes of shells both Hornady (117g) and Nosler (110g). Mounted a Leupold 4x12, ready to sight it in. Really want to shoot a pronghorn this fall with it. Test target is impressive, 3 bullets in the same hole basically.

Also may have accidentally ordered a Rigby Highland Stalker in 275....

Congrats on your purchase--think you will be pleased on how it shoots based on the ones I have shot/owned/tried....

Having said that i don't put "that" much faith in the target...it is shot at something like 40 yards in an indoor tunnel..having said that, every Cooper I have owned shoots very well..usually 1/2" group ..You should have a lot of fun hunting antelope with it..they are one of my favorite animals to hunt..can see how close you can get or snipe them way out there..great fun..and really good eating if prepared correctly and taken care of properly after shot..

A Rigby Highland Stalker???.Really interested in how that shoots once you get it, beautiful rifle...and great caliber..
