Ironically, when I obtained the rifle I assumed that it was a 9.5x56. When I actually measured the bore, I discovered that it was a 9.3.
I would suggest slugging the barrel to obtain a precise groove diameter. A 9.3 bore diameter would indicate a 9.5 groove (and bullet) diameter.
