My longest shot made was on a groundhog last year. It was at a rangefinder verified 526 yards. I used a Remington 700 VLS in 22-250 shooting 50 grain v-max bullets. My scope is a fixed power Leupold 12x AO.I have made many longish shots with this rifle.
That's a nice shot with a 22-250! Would have looked pretty small with a 12x! Well done. I have a 700ADL action in my safe that used to be a 22-250 and have been 'gunna' build a .22-250AI with 1-9" twist barrel for 75-80gr projectiles for varmints, but there arn't many opportunities for varmint hunting where I live so it kinda got put on the back burner!
