My longest shot made was on a groundhog last year. It was at a rangefinder verified 526 yards. I used a Remington 700 VLS in 22-250 shooting 50 grain v-max bullets. My scope is a fixed power Leupold 12x AO.I have made many longish shots with this rifle.

I never had to shoot a big game animal past 150 yards. Never needed to.
