But I see to relevant inaccuracies:

1- "The bolt handle root serves as a safety lug in the case of primary lug failure": The bolt handle root is not the safety lug. This is a third lug, independent of the bold handle.

2- "The Model 1895—better known as the Chilean Mauser—was the first to be chambered in the 7x57 mm Mauser cartridge": The first rifle chambered for the, then, new 7 mm Mauser cartridge was the experimental 1892 Spanish Mauser, with the in-line, not staggered, magazine, quickly followed by the final version of the Spanish Mauser, the 1893, with the staggered magazine, also in 7 mm Mauser, rifle wich made famous this cartridge.
