Nice score, looks like made in 1936 and still has the original rudder style safety.
At least whomever did the blue and stock refinish did a nice job of it, a keeper for sure.

I have a similar one, still original blue & stock finish, that is 1940 vintage with a receiver sight and marked 30GOVT06 as well. Such nice "old school" feel to them and I have no interest in mounting a scope on the old girl. Mine shoots quite well with Nosler 180 Accubonds.
