Darlyl, I might actually semi agree with your wife on some level. I've been culling rifles like a mad man. I got to the point my rifles owned me and it took way to much time to load and clean the blasted things. Keeping the great stuff and selling the experiments / toys/ basic soulless tools / redundancies and such.

Ripp, mostly you are right but there are a couple that i still blame the tequila on. Two or three less would have been better.

As to varmints, on the farm we always considered wolves and black bears as varmints. Might cloud my judgement a touch on this topic.
