My all-time favorite varmint rifle was a Sharps-Borchardt (Model 1878 Sharps) that had been built into a custom .225 Winchester. It had hand made double set triggers and was sub -1/2 MOA. I hunted groundhogs a lot in the 80s and that rifle usually was with me. Yeah I had other varmint rifles, but this one was the king.

Here's a scan of the only photo I have of that rifle. It left my hands when I needed funds for a double rifle purchase.

I do miss that rifle.
