I'm currently using BlackRange (James Craig) to import a rifle from the USA at the moment. It is in Customs in Melbourne as we speak.
The price he gave me to import, while being fairly expensive, saved me from having to do anything at all other than front up at my LGS with a PTA and pick up the rifle.
He has kept me in the loop all the way, his contact has been nothing short of outstanding.
But he did make it clear right from the start that it's really only for either rare or more expensive firearms. He said it would never be economical for a Boito!
My biggest problem was the red tape at Weapons Licensing in QLD.
