The end weight is whatever you make it. That will be governed slightly, of course by the calibre. A 9 pound rifle is a good weight and will handle anything from a .35 Whelen to a .375Whelen IMP - my favourite. A 9.3x62 is also a great round, almost literally, an improved '06 necked for a .366" bullet. The base diameter is, of course larger on the 9.3x62. Rim size, is the same. |
