My rifle weighs 8'10oz with Leupold VX3 1.75-6x32 in Talley QD mounts. I opted for a slightly heavier barrel profile because I like a little weight for holding steady in offhand situations.

My 416 has a heavier barrel on it as well, which like you, I like...also is very accurate...
