Re: 6.5 Creedmoor

G'Day Fella's,

Wayne59, I don't own a 6.5 Creedmore but I do own a 6.5 x 47 Lapua chambered bolt rifle.
This is actually a 26" barrel, for a switch barrel rifle of mine.
From what I understand the 6.5 Creedmore and 6.5 x 47 Lap are very similar sized cases. So you may be able to use similar Starting Loads, for both chamberings and work up from there.

The accuracy load I use in my 6.5 x 47 Lap consists of 40 grains of ADI AR-2209 (H 4350) and Sierra 142grn MK and Nosler 140grn CC bullets along with Lapua Cases, CCI BR4 Small Rifle primers.
Whilst this is not a Maximum load in this rifle (it is close to it), it achieves just over 2700fps, and if I do my part, it shoots ragged one hole groups.

Wayne, here is a link I found that does a comparison on the .260Rem -6.5x47-6.5 Creedmore.

Hope that helps

Doh!
