Wayne59; Thanks for the response. I replaced that plastic piece with an aluminum one , also replaced the bolt knob. So far the hornady factory ammo was shooting better than my reloads. We are shooting at targets approximately 10" X 14" and hitting them more than missing. Very happy with the Rifle so far. As I say we are not shooting now as it is to cold and wet up here. Will be shooting again in the spring. Al
