...I agree with you completely.....at this point, the gun has only been set up to give me an idea of proportions when making these stocks.I have some buffalo horn for a grip cap and fore-end snobble when the proper stock is cut, also a set of decent sights....mannlicher stocked rifles don't look right without at least a front sight. I truly appreciate comments on these stocks, ( especially from the man who gave us the worlds greatest mosin project )as I have a preference for the less common types of rifles, Carcanos; SMLE's and the Mosin Nagants, etc, stock style can be a very personal, non mainsteam type of thing.
