Thanks for the sound advice. I am thinking a left hand satterlee arms mauser action however I do have a question about something interesting I saw on a Holland and Holland 375 double rifle. The front sight looked pretty standard but the h&h rep showed me that there was a section of the front sight that allowed it to be flipped over the bead and then you had a sight that was optimal for low light conditions it can be seen here: http://www.hallowellco.com/holland-sle-458-muzzles-day-sight.jpg my question would be could such a thing be placed on a mauser rifle, and if so how would one go about constructing such a beast? |
