Forming dies are also available if you cut down and reshape .30-06 brass.

Designed for soft skinned 'medium' game in India and Africa.
Made its reputation due to good sectional density (penetration) for a conventional projectile before premiums were invented. RN penetrated with less deflection post impact than later spitzer designs.
