Re: Carl Gustaf Rifles

The Carl Gustaf 2000 was produced by a Swedish company named FFV and later Celsius group. In 1970 they bought the rifle production from Husqvarna. At that time the maschines that produced the 1900 wasnīt in very good shape. FFV started to develop a new rifle the 2000 model Mk1, that one they produced in Italy. The Italians didnīt do it very well, some bad quality, so FFV(Celsius group) did bring the production back to Sweden and model 2000 that was made in Sweden is named MkII. And I think that the production of that rifle stopped somewhere in the 1990ies. After that I think all rights to 1900 and 2000 was sold to Sauer. And they did make the CG 3000 and CG 4000. Its funny to start the production of the 2000, its a good rifle, but I dont think its up to date today.
