I'm searching for an inexpensive .308 for deer hunting, basically something extra to compliment the two .308's I already own. Does anyone here have one of the NEF Survivor rifles and how good is it? I wish it were a lighter barrel profile but apparently it's varmint weight only in that caliber.

BTW is anybody here still a refugee from AR after the last upgrade? I've requested new password several times with no response, guess it's time to take the hint or something
