Excuse my ignorance about these rifles but is that an original, Brno Model 21?

Well, I had a rethink.
If you were desperate to scope this rifle, I would have a mount made up, that fitted into the Rear Sight Dovetail and then extended back over the receiver ring. Kind of like a Scout Mount!
I would then use a long eye relief scope or maybe a red dot scope of some description....
