Wheren't those rifles available with claw mounts and scope right from the factory - it is my
understanding they were. If so that would be the "appropriate" scope mounting system and not
degrade the value much - if not raise it. Nice rifle to be sure, it's your decision, you know
best your budget and systems available to you. JMHO --- John
