If mine I would go to a handmade claw mount, the rear base closely hand fitted to the unaltered rear bridge and soldered, the front one on a countered half banded support soldered on the barrel first step.
I'm afraid this suggestion is overestimating the number of gunsmiths in India who are qualified to fit such a mount, let alone hand make one. There are precious few even in the far more firearms oriented United States.
