When the WSM cartridges first came out, I ask "why". But I did some reading about the new Kimber M8400 and lo and behold I became the owner of a new M8400 in 300WSM. I am totally impressed with this rifle (and cartridge). It is of high quality- operation and fit/finish. It is highly accurate with all weights of bullets I've tried-150, 165, 180, and 200 (Nosler partitions).I would put it on par with the standard Dakota- at about one fourth the price.
