For the price they are showing for this, one would hope not, BUT???

While I really like some of their calibers, 257 being my favorite as well of the Weatherby series, I think much of their marketing claims are very outdated. Fastest, hardest hitting, most accurate ??? those are no longer the case and have not been for a very long time. They need to get a new marketing idea going..IMHO

I have owned several through the years. Currently own one, a synthetic in 240. Great little gun for what it is. Have also owned several through the years in .257. Got rid of most of them and built my own via gunsmith. Much more accurate than I had with the factory Weatherby's..

Not to bash proud owners of them, just personally have never been that much of a fan of the rifles, nor their mechanics..
