Rob - is the trigger catching in the well?

Will the tang come up at all - or the barrel and front of action come up?- sort of pivoting at the recoil lug?

I've seen this - otherwise, I've got nothing - (the T-gaurd being out)

Oh - is there a sling swivel with a cross pin through the forend? Perhaps it goes through a lug, but that would not prevent the rear of the action from lifting.

Triggers can at times, bind fore or aft in the well and need to be shoved or rocked forward or backwards to fit down into the well.
