One always needs a .30-06! It is a fantastic cartridge, only drawback is that it was invented by a committee in the US. Had it been spawned by Messrs Rigby, Holland or Richards it would probably be regarded as the best sporting rifle cartridge of all time.

Kudu, wildebeest (both types), gemsbuck, impala, warthog, blesbuck, springbuck, and what not. You really cannot make a mistake.

Have a .318, .375, .243, 6,5x55 and a bunch of other stuff as well, BTW!
