By incredible luck an 8-point whitetail was spotted very deep in the Wisconsin woods at the Chippewa county forest and I had a good rest on a log pile...it was almost like using a bernchrest...I held the cross hairs what I considered to be a foot over the deer's back and pressed the trigger of the .375 H&H. The deer run off and upon walking to the target we found blood and trailed the deer for about 200 yards. The 270 grain Hornady had done it's job hitting the rib cage dead center and the deer hangs on the wall to this day.

Thr pass thru was instrumental in leaving a blood trail even though the bullet didn't open at all.....375 hole in and .375 hole out.
