No John, it originated as a right-hander!
The rifle has undergone a complete overhaul and it sports a miked to .244" bore that shoots extremely accurately with .243" 100 grains bullets.
Even if cartridges are readily available here (and very expensive!), we prefer to make the brass from .240 Wby Mag Norma cases using a set of RCBS forming dies provided by Huttington. With mild loads, ballistic performances are in the same range than the good old 6mm Rem.
