CZ, your question as to value is a valid one. In the early days Holland ( and all other English makers) sourced their Mauser action from wherever they could. Sometimes you will see Original Magnum length actions used, where they could get their hands on them. They bought a lot of Original Mausers, simple for the actions……and as for Rigby, well we know the story there. Value. Holland magazine rifles, with their high price have alwas left me a bit cold, but remember you pay for the name in this case. Give me an original Mauser for much less Money any day. In simply terms they understood you cant improve on perfection. Best Eric |
