Rell, thanks. To make a No.1 a takedown would probably best be approached at the barrel action joint. A friend, major single shot collector, has quite a few British T/D single shots and some are shown in Winfer's books as well.
A fun project and no reason why "minute of Kudu" should not be achieved.
