while I like the old ones better, I do have an 84 is 260. it's a nice light hunting rifle for smaller stuff. It does have an affinity to being cleaned however. after about 12-15 rounds the groups open up from about 1 minute to about 4. run a cleaning brush and patch through is and it immediately returns. One of these days when I get the ambition and cause together I'm going to firelap it and see what happens, but in the meantime it's still one of the prettiest rifles out there for a reasonable pricetag
