It currently has a Sako trigger set at 2.5lb pull. Despite Tony doing some work on it, a Timney will replace it at some stage.

The left side mounted low swing safety is also Recknagel. I like them there so I can push them down/off with my thumb without moving my hand. With a Timney trigger all three rifles will be as similar as possible.

A second R.Famage Mauser '98 action sits in the safe waiting for a .318 NE barrel one day. That will round out the battery.

I see this as my large feral, goat, pig, springbok and Roe rifle. It should also handle fallow and Impala size game with correct shot placement.
