I actually use a few on a regular basis here..

The 300RUM is my go to gun for elk..use the .257 Weatherby almost exclusively on antelope and mule deer..have used the .416 Remington on all my African hunts with incredible results..and just last year used the .264 Win on elk which worked very well...have also used the 338RUM on elk..but as stated, really don’t see the need for that much power for elk...

Agree as stated above, seems as I get older don’t find it as necessary to get out the big guns as often..but still fun time to time...
