ya--I plan to reload with some 120 or 130 Barnes Triple x's --the factory Nosler loads are claiming around 3150 i think for the 140 Accubonds..you are correct that is right in line with factory 7mm rem mag factory loads...

Agree--the ackley is an amazing round..and can be used in a standard length action..less powder..recoil and weight to lug up and down the mtns...however the Webernick model I have weighs in around 6lbs with a Zeiss Rapid Z-800...so its really nice for mtn hunting...albeit a bit squirmish ..
