I-too handload all my ammo, however I had an opportunity to recently try some Federal 115gr. (cannelured) Nosler Partition .25/06 factory ammo from my Savage Axis stainless. Like most of my handloads tested so far, they also printed right around 5/8" (1/2" to 3/4").

I did not chronograph them, but the poi is identical to the same bullet weight handload using WW780 & Partitions in top-end loads listed at almost 3,100fps. I did not shoot them at longer ranges, other than bouncing a few shots off the small 3" X 5" plates hanging at 224 yards. Considering the same poi as my 115gr. Partition handloads, I now have sufficient ammo for the winter season.
