Daryl, that might be OK with the Butch's solvent but Patch Out (PO) specifically state Do Not use in conjunction with any other bore solvent etc!!!

As to the fact that PO leaves the barrels bore dry after use, it can't leave a bore as dry as it will become after a shot or two, or ten!!!

So far, I'm completely satisfied with PO.
That is, not only does it do the job it is supposed to but it fits in well with the way I run in and clean barrels!
