Got my 6.5x47L today.

Here are some dodgy photo's I took with my phone.
The stock needs another coat of oil now.

Put a 3 - 9 x 42 Kahles scope on it.
Loaded up 3 rnds with 37 grains of 2208 and a Fed magnum small rifle primer.Got it on target at 25 yards then went home and cleaned it.Then loaded 10 rnds and went back to the range (gravel pit really)

Load is doing about 2790 fps. Will fire form all my cases then chase a bit more velocity.

Here is my first target.
Bottom three shots are at 25 yards to get it on paper.
The three above are my first 3 shot group at 100 yards.
Got excited when I saw the first two.

This was my second attempt at a group.

Was blowing about 20 kms an hour here today. So with a total of 12 shots I am good to go.

Did shoot a sow this afternoon but couldn't find her in the cane grass.
