Yes - I believe Ackley's writings over Roy's WTBY adds. I've been shooting Ackley designed ctgs. since 1974 & have never been disappointed, nor have I found anything he wrote about in question, that I can put my finger on. Yes, there is/are script errors in the books - it happens. Even today, the loading manuals have 'corrections' that are published on their sites or in magazines after the new book has been circulated for a while.
