Or - merely make your Mauser feed when dropping a round into the chamber and closing the bolt. Mine all do - no need to control round feed if you don't want to. Load the magazine, throw one into the chamber, push the top round under the bolt and close the bolt - extractor snaps over the rim just fine - if made ot do so - bit of polishing is all it's ever taken me with M96's or M98's. If you have a Mauser where the extractor that won't climb over the rim - try pulling the extractor in (squeezing) the sides to angle the claw out as you rotate the bolt - just to get that one out without having to have a rod. Then - take it to a gunsmith to fix. |
