Re: Which new 9.3x62?

A good Friend talked me out of my Tikka Battue in 9.3x62. So before I order another one,are there others I should consider? Like the Sako 85 Hunter? Or what about one of the fast twist Ruger Africans or CZ 550?

Tikkas are very accurate rifles but I am not in love with the plastic bottom end or bolt shroud but have never had a problem yet with any of mine but have seen issues. I have seen a few SAKO's fail in the heavier calibers (375 and 416)by recoil jamming the action totally but I guess a 9.3 would be ok.The CZ's are great rifles but I hate the new "American " stock design ;clubby and designed for benchrest shooting IMO ,but if you can get an old ZKK or a Euro "Standard" model (not sold in US) this would be great.I have never liked Rugers due to poor accuracy and difficulty in bedding but from Afrika a hear good things about the new "Hawkeye"
