Here is the finished 7x57. I put on a mint ZF4 Zeiss Jena scope. Shot Hornady interlock 154 reloads with 48.0 grains of H4350 at 2,800 fps. Accuracy excellent.Also chronographed the hot Lapua 173 factory ammo at 2,650 fps a stiff recoiling load but accurate.The stock was finished with a orange shellac formula I learned from an old violin maker.I like to use this formula on lighter European wood.I think Corbett,Hunter and Bell would approve.
