Homer i only just read your post re the Cerakote.

I`m led to believe that the operator had to wait for new black to arrive so I believe it was fresh enough.

Anyold how I have carried a mod 70 for over 30 years in Victoria's sambar country in winters of rain,frosts,ice and snow and I`m still doing so,in fact I carried her two nights ago for the first time in 2012 looking for a pot animal.She will do winter again this year of course and hasn't missed a beat.

Oh and that's doing a lot of time in the bush too on ave six days a week,just about every evening!
We dont really NEED a specialist winter /wet weather rifle do we!
