G'Day Fella's, 375 BRNO, (Mmmmmm Doh Nuts!), the Sauer 202 is a really nice rifle and the Ilaflon is the same coating, that Glock apply to their pistol slides and barrels. It is a very durable coating. An other way to go, is to get whatever type of rifle you may prefer (blued or stainless) and get Geoff Baker at www.slrcoatings.com.au (in Capalaba Qld), to apply a Cerakote spray on finish to it! This to is a very durable and impervious to the wet weather, coating! I personally apply the Air Cured version of Cerakote, to the firearm suppressors that I manufacture and my own firearms! It's good !!! To give you a bit of an insight into Cerakote, the Toyota factory finish on my old L/Cruiser wiper blade frames had started to fail (after 20 years) and they were rusting. So I bead blasted them and Cerakoted them! That was 2 years ago and they are as good as the day it was applied! This vehicle, spends most days parked outside in the weather and puts up with winter frosts and rain and Summer heat (but not this so-called mild & wet Summer?)! Hope that helps Doh!
