Phillip, I had a Brrno Manlicher in 8x57 that was an exact copy of the one pictured in your post, including the claw mounts and scope. However it was not pleasant to shoot (Read too much recoil) and I let it go. I have since wished I would have had it rechambered to 7x57 or 6.5x57. Loved the rifle but hated the cartridge in so light a rifle. I guess I'm a whimp when it comes to recoil. LOL
