The question is why would anyone i.e.a civilian or a hunter need an assault rifle.For self defense,in my opinion,a handgun or best of all a pump action or sawed off shotgun is unbeatable.For hunting you don't need an assault rifle,so apart from infringing on your right to own any weapon you choose,what good is an assault rifle?I think they should be banned.
