I like the little loopy's as they are slim and fit me well. A loopy 2.5-8 would do everything you want.

I have a 3.5-10 for my Mtn rifle which I'm piecing togeether at the moment. I understand you want something for reflex shooting in the monkey scrub and the little loopy may be just the ticket.
