One thing to be said in Leupold's favour, the slim eyepiece allows much lower mounting for 'instinctive' use. The lockable eyepiece focus is streets ahead of the Euro system which can be moved by accident. The Euro optics are generally better, the Leupold ergonomics are generally better. It makes it a tough call to decide, but like most things its about the compromises your willing to make.
