Shoot feral dogs. Dogs with collars have either been dumped or have lost their way. I have had to shoot one of my dogs because he got a taste for blood and would chase anything that moved, including the horses next door. Under the livestock act, any farmer can shoot an animal that is endangering/molesting his livestock (though I hear of a few farmers who molest their own livestock

). I had to do it for liability reasons, plus my wife did not trust the dog around the kids. I did give him to a trainer first, but it was hopeless.
