TAW1126, I have only recently received a new barrel in 6.5 x 47 Lapua for my switch barrel rifle.
I also have a project in place, to re-barrel a BSA Royal/Hunter(?) to 6.5-284.
So there is a chambering either side of the .260 Rem. I gave serious thought to both the Std .260 Rem and the .260 AI but went with the Lapua cartridge.

The .260 has a lot going for it but then, so does the 7-08 and the mighty .308 Win (Eh Toofa)!

Fella's, I learnt from my mistakes, a long time ago!
If all the bills are paid, if the pantry is full of food and there are enough clothes and shoes on every bodies back and feet. The worse thing you can say is, "Gee I Wish"!!!
Gee I Wish, I bought that rifle, Gee I Wish, I didn't sell that Shotgun, Gee I wish I went to that place, etc etc

Regret, is not a good thing, so..........
