6.5x47 Lapua is interesting. When I first saw the 6.5x47 Lapua listed,I instantly thought of the original 6.5x47, which used the .222Rem Mag. case. My bad.

Interesting ctg. that Lapua, for intermediate range target shooting, ie: out to 600yards, it seems. It should also make a terrific prone and postion ctg.

The .260, which delivers just enough with heavier match bullets to be useful to 1,000yards, is also a good one for postion, recoiling less than the typical .308 and delivering higher BC bullets at the same time.
